How do I withdraw from my program?

Answer

Before making the decision to withdraw from your program, please contact iesupport@rrc.ca to learn about the available options to help you with coursework, tutoring, workshops, payment plans, and other resources available from the Academic Success Centre.

IMPORTANT: Withdrawing from your program may affect your future immigration plans. Please ensure you contact iesupport@rrc.ca prior to withdrawing.

If you have communicated with iesupport@rrc.ca and are still intent on withdrawing, you must complete the Full-Time Program Withdrawal online form.

If you want to withdraw from a single course, you need to talk to your Program Chair. They will explain the process and how that will affect your progress in your program. If the course is required to complete your program, you will need to take it later before you can graduate. Some courses may be available through Continuing Education, but others are available only through your full-time program, so you would have to wait until the next time it is offered. It's important that you discuss this with your Program Chair before making any decisions.
