How do I apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)?

Answer

• The eTA will be issued automatically if you are applying for a study permit overseas.

• If you need to apply for an eTA, the application can be done online.

  • There is a $7 CAD application fee.
  • Your eTA is valid for up to five years.
