What is the difference between Offer of the Study Plan, Letter of Acceptance, Confirmation of Enrollment and Transcript?
Answer
• Offer of the Study Plan (future)
The offer of the study plan is a description of what Red River College Polytechnic is offering to the applicant. It contains information about the English for Academic and Professional Purposes program (if applicable), academic program selected, tentative start date, campus, and fees. This document CANNOT be used as an official document to apply for a visa or a permit (see letter of acceptance).
• Letter of Acceptance (LOA) (future)
This document shows the details of the program you've been accepted to at RRC Polytech. This letter is recognized by the Government of Canada as an official document that can be used for processing visa and permit applications.
• Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) (present)
This document highlights your current enrollment status, such as program of enrollment, program length, and start and end dates of the current term. This document also serves as the Co-Op letter for students who choose to apply for the Co-Op Work Permit after the program starts and must be valid at the time of submission of the immigration application.
• Transcript (past)
This document shows your academic performance for all completed terms, highlighting your past achievements.
