Why can't I find a streaming video?

Where is my programs streaming video collection?

How do I access a Library online video?

I need to watch an online video hosted by the Library.

Does the Library have online video databases?

Answer

Many of the videos included in our OneSearch or linked to by your instructors, are hosted on multiple platforms, with the access managed by the Library. The Library subscribes to several streaming database providing access to thousands of educational videos, documentaries, and feature films.

Many of the videos included in our OneSearch or linked to by your instructors, are hosted on multiple platforms, with the access managed by the Library. Streaming video content may also be copies of the Library's physical video collection, temporarily digitized to provide requested access, in this case the links provided will stop providing access after a set time.

RRC Polytech Library's licensed streaming databases include:

Curio
JoVE Science Education Database (This link opens in a new window)
LinkedIn Learning
NFB Education (National Film Board)
Nursing and Mental Health in Video, a Symptom Media Collection
Nursing Education in Video: Third Edition
SafetyHub

If you can't find a streaming video title in OneSearch, that video may no longer be available for streaming due to an update in our copyright policy. Please look for an alternate title or contact us.
