How do I book a Quiet Pod?

Can I book the Study Rooms in the Library?

I need a private space for a meeting or presentation, where can I go?

Are there rooms for students to meet as a group?

Where can I find the student work rooms at Roblin Centre?

Is there anything I need to do after using a Pod or Study Room?

Answer

There are two types of spaces in the NDC Library.

1) All NDC Library Study Rooms  are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and not bookable by students.

2) The Quiet Pods ( Farmery Q ) are bookable through the Quiet Pod booking system and are intended to be used for brief periods--ideal for private phone calls or video interviews.

Library and Academic Services staff may ask study room and Quiet Pod users to leave if there is an existing booking.
Study Rooms are only bookable by LAS staff.

Do not leave your belongings unattended in a Study Room or Quiet Pod.
Unattended belongings will be collected by Security staff and added to the Lost & Found for a limited time.

Outside the Library
At NDC, the Students' Association offers two bookable rooms for students: The Den (CM75E) and The Club Hub (CM75D).

At EDC, there are a number of spaces throughout the Roblin Centre and Manitou a bi Bii Daziigae that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The largest space is the John and Bonnie Buhler Learning Commons. Inquire at a Security desk or consult the interactive campus map for location information.
