Answer
Yes, the Library accepts donations!
However, potential donors are encouraged to contact the library and discuss potential donations with a library representative before drop off. Donated books and resource materials are accepted with the understanding that some items may not be added to the collection.
Our collection development team will consider the following criteria when accepting donations: whether they add depth or breadth to existing library collections, relevance of content to RRC programming, currency, and physical condition.
Often duplicates or older editions of textbooks are put on the "free books" shelf for current students to take.
The Campus Store also buys back current textbooks.
