What can I do if I forgot my student card?

How can I print without my ID?

Can I photocopy without my swipe card?

Can I still borrow a laptop if I forgot my student card?

Answer

There are several alternatives to having your student card, depending on what you need to accomplish while at the Library.

You do not need to show an ID card to enter and use the Notre Dame Campus (NDC) Library space.
Exchange District Campus (EDC) requires RRC ID cards to enter the campus. Visitors (who are not otherwise affiliated with the College) who wish to use the Library will need to state that purpose to Security when entering the building.

When on campus, use your ID card for:

Use Alternative
Printing, Photocopying, etc. OR - using your RRC username and password, select alternative log-in on Xerox machines
Borrowing Library materials OR - students can provide their student number while showing other photo ID
Swipe Access OR - call Security to request access (NDC ) 204-632-2323, (EDC) 204-949-8305
Fitness Centre entry OR - users can sign in using the RRC Polytech Well-Being app
Bus Pass / Peggo None - Students must show their student ID card with current date sticker when using Post-Secondary Peggo pass on Winnipeg Transit.
