Can I pick up equipment booked at the Notre Dame Campus, from the Exchange District campus instead?
I scheduled equipment from the Exchange District Campus Library, but I need it at the Notre Dame Campus.
Can I return my laptop at either the NDC or EDC Library?
Why do I need to return equipment to the Library I borrowed it from?
Answer
The borrower is responsible for returning equipment to the Library location they borrowed it from.
Neither EDC or NDC Library locations will accept returns of the other library's equipment collection.
The equipment system for each of our two Libraries does not allow items to be easily transferred and tracked between locations, leading to unknown status and availability for those equipment items over an undefined amount of time. Returning equipment to the loaning location is to the users benefit.
