Why can't I find the "print" button in Papercut?
I can't release my print job from my laptop...what changed?
Do I need to go to the printer to release the print job?
Answer
As of June 5th, 2025, it is no longer possible to remotely release documents for printing. Staff and students now need to be present at a Xerox multifunction device to release print jobs.

Why have things changed?
The ability to release print jobs remotely was identified as a security risk. IT Solutions continually works to improve security and protect confidential information at the College.
NEW** Instructions for Printing
- Send your print job to FollowMePrint*
- Go to any** College Xerox MultiFunction Device.
- Swipe your College Photo id, or login with your College credentials using the "Alternative Login" button on screen.
- Select the job(s) you want to print.
- Push the "Print" button on the touch screen, or push the green, "start" button to release the print job.
*The FollowMePrint system will be in place for the 2025 Fall term.
**If FollowMePrint isn't available, send your printing to the exact printer you wish to print from (the printer's name will be on the machine itself).
